We are dedicated to the development of affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization, and to the education of consumers on housing and financial issues.
Since 1994, Genesis Housing Corporation has been a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a community housing development organization (CHDO). Our general activities include the rehabilitation and new construction of homes to improve and stabilize neighborhoods and to provide opportunities for lower income homebuyers to purchase homes at affordable prices.

We offer a range of programs designed to support individuals and families including free HUD certified financial education classes and individual housing counseling to build a better future. Our programs also include housing rehabilitation grants providing new roofs, heaters and other critical systems repairs.
Physical Renovations
Our home renovation programs focus on providing essential repairs. We help improve building safety, lead paint abatement, energy efficiency and accessibility. These initiatives help lower income homeowners to improve their homes while building a stronger community.
Housing Counseling
Our housing counseling program offers free credit, money management and home buyer classes. As a HUD certified housing counseling agency, our free services work with programs offered by Montgomery County, PA Housing Finance Agency (PHFA), and a wide range of lenders.
