Reliance Crossing
Construction was completed at Reliance Crossing, an affordable multi-family rental project located in Souderton Borough, Montgomery County in July, 2016. Genesis Housing and Ingerman won a 2016 Montgomery County award for the Reliance Crossing development from the Montgomery County Planning Commission for one of the best local projects.
The development has 56 apartments to accommodate a diverse range of household sizes. The unit types are a combination of townhomes over flats. The two-bedroom units range from 1,000 – 1,100 square feet, while the three-bedroom units contain between 1,250 and 1,350 square feet of space. Six of these units are designed to be completely handicapped-accessible.
The community at Reliance Road and North 2nd Street has three-story buildings with direct frontage that give the community a scale and architectural character consistent with the surrounding neighborhood of single- and multi-family homes. The apartments are designed as independent, but linked structures, providing private entries with a distinct sense of place for each resident. The centerpiece of the development will be a spacious community green that will offer passive recreation for residents.
