Our Mission
Genesis Housing Corporation is dedicated to the development of affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization and the education of consumers on housing and financial issues. Our general activities include the rehabilitation and new construction of homes to improve and stabilize neighborhoods and to provide opportunities for lower income homebuyers to purchase homes at affordable prices. Genesis Housing Corporation also provides housing counseling and money management services.
Our History
Since 1994, Genesis Housing Corporation has served Montgomery County, and the surrounding counties, as a community housing development organization (CHDO) and is dedicated to the development of affordable housing, the revitalization of neighborhoods and to the education of consumers on housing and financial issues.
Genesis Housing is a HUD certified housing counseling agency. The Housing Counseling Program provides free classes and individual counseling helping over 17,000 clients.
Genesis Housing Corporation has been actively involved in providing affordable homes in Montgomery County, PA to stabilize housing values, promote home ownership, and provide safe and decent housing for lower-income families providing over 750 affordable housing units.

Judith Memberg
Executive Director
Judith Memberg has worked for Genesis Housing Corporation since 1995 and has over 35 years’ experience with project planning and development including seven years as Director of Planning for the Borough of Norristown.
Sarah Kasiewski
Assistant Director
Sarah Kasiewski has worked for Genesis Housing Corporation since 2005 and is responsible for social media, income verifications, coordinating relocation services, housing rehab programs and fundraising to corporations and foundations.
Angel Smith
Program Assistant
Angel Smith has worked at Genesis Housing since 2020 and is responsible for assisting with housing counseling services and housing rehab programs.
Nikki Holcroft
Housing Counselor
Nikki Holcroft, a HUD certified housing counselor, has worked for Genesis Housing Corporation since 2001 and has over 30 years’ experience as a banker and budget educator.

The counseling course was excellent! I had learned more in the time spent there than months with a counseling agency.
I wanted to thank you personally for approving the work on my home and especially for approving the additional repairs to the porch roof which had become an eyesore. I had always thought that maybe one day I would be able to save enough to have the work done. But when I saw the final bill, I realized I would never have been able to. Now I can live out my final days without worrying that my house will fall down around me.
