In 2019, Genesis Housing celebrated 25 years since we incorporated as a nonprofit agency. We have rehabbed or built over 650 affordable housing units and provided housing counseling services to over 13,000 people.

Genesis Housing has rehabbed or built over 500 affordable housing units including long term vacant properties and owner-occupied homes in partnership with local communities, federal, state and county government agencies and affordable housing developers. These project has helped families become homeowners, provided homeowner rehab grants and loans, renovated long-term vacant properties, provided affordable apartments and supported neighborhood revitalization projects.
Rehabilitation:
Genesis Housing Corporation has completed vacant property renovations in Norristown, Ambler and Pottstown. Genesis Housing has administered homeowner rehab programs throughout Montgomery County including the Montgomery County Homeowner Rehab Program and various low income loan programs.
New Construction:
Genesis Housing Corporation has completed new construction projects such as Reliance Crossing, an affordable rental development in Souderton, PA and new home buyer projects like May Street Crossing, Warren Homes and Walnut Street Homes in Pottstown, PA
Consulting:
Genesis Housing Corporation provides consulting services to other non-profit agencies to assist with affordable housing and housing counseling working with Lower Merion Affordable Housing, Habitat for Humanity, Ardmore House, Laurel House (domestic violence shelter) and similar organizations to support their missions.
